Hedone

How we make it

Our Craft

Every garment at Hedone is the result of a meticulous process — from the first measurement to the final press. Here is how we bring your piece to life.

01

Fabric Selection

We source our cloths from the world's finest mills — Loro Piana and Vitale Barberis Canonico in Italy, Thomas Mason and Holland & Sherry in England, and select Japanese mills producing exceptional technical weaves. Every fabric in our collection is chosen for its hand feel, structure and longevity.

02

Measurement & Pattern

For bespoke orders, your measurements are taken either in person at our London atelier or submitted through our online profiling system. Our pattern cutters then draft a unique block for each client — no two patterns are ever the same.

03

Cutting

We cut by hand, one layer at a time. This allows our cutters to work around any imperfections in the cloth and to ensure that stripes, checks and patterns are perfectly matched at every seam.

04

Construction

Our shirts are assembled using a combination of machine and hand sewing. Collar interlinings are hand-padstitched. Buttonholes are worked by hand on all bespoke orders. Trouser waistbands are fitted with a canvas interlining and all seams are finished with a flat-felled or French seam depending on the garment.

05

Finishing

The final pressing is carried out on a professional steam press, shaping each garment to its intended silhouette. Buttons are attached individually and checked for security. Each piece is then inspected by a senior tailor before it is packed and dispatched.
